Is transit actively involved in SHSP development?

Per SAFETEA-LU legislation, SHSP's are required to be developed, after consultation with representatives of major modes of transportation.
Is anyone aware of instances where transit is being considered " explicitly " in the development of the States' Strategic Highway Safety Plan?
Please include: Transit agency name, city, state
-Brief description of how transit safety measures are being incorporated into current Strategic Highway Safety Plan development
-Transit operator contact information (if available)
-State Highway Safety Office representative contact (if available)
